I often hear marketers building websites and picking fonts and I ask them what they are basing their decisions on? If I hear answers like - 'I just think it looks good." "This template looks professional." "I trust the website company." WRONG. Brand drives everything. If your marketer can't tell you your brand - they aren't a marketer.
Are you a team leader? SVP? VP? C-Suite? Congratulations! Are you consistently building your brand? If not, the young guns will pass you by. Do you lead with humility? Do you build others or gossip? What do other team members say about you? What does the company say about you? If you are a CEO/COO/CFO/HIRING MANAGER - fire those that kill your culture even if they are your top performer.
